Abate Pest Management are 15 Today

19 Apr

Happy Birthday to Abate Pest Management who are 15 years old today.

15 years

Abate Pest Management from Morley near Wymondham is celebrating 15 years in business and continues to grow year on year.

The company is not the only one seeing good continuous growth – the worldwide pest control industry is going from strength to strength. According to market research company IbisWorld, the sector in the UK alone is worth more than £367m and growing. In the US it’s worth more than $11bn (£7bn).

Jon Blake, Managing Director of Abate Pest Management said “Pest Control is now becoming more of a must have in certain environments. We work with many organisations across different industries to prevent and cure pest problems. One of the growth factors for Abate last year was a new Bird Free Optical Gel. Birds see ultraviolet light so Bird Free Gel appears to them as fire. We have installed this gel on many Grade listed buildings including the Granary at Wells Next the Sea. I like to put our success down to knowledge and understanding, providing customers with the right service and the right solution all delivered by experienced technicians. Without pest control customers can get some nasty shocks. Recently we had to service an office building where Rats had entered and chewed through fibre optic cables, causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. With a pest control contract the rodent entry point would have been spotted and the company would have saved money, time and disruption.”

Abate Pest Management delivers Bird Control, Rodent Control and Insect Control throughout East Anglia and beyond. Abate has multi ISO accreditation for quality and health & safety management systems along with Gold Accreditation with NPTA (National Pest Technicians Association), which helps to assure customers that their work is of the highest standard. In addition they offer an advanced service for food grade premises, packaging, warehousing, pharmaceuticals which comply with Soil Association, Salsa, BRC and TFMS (Tesco Food Manufacturing Standard) specifications. More recently Abate was also awarded the CHAS accreditation, which shows how efficient and compliant Abate are with Health & Safety.
